I’m Edith (she/her), an advanced trainee psychotherapist in Transactional Analysis, based in Granada, Spain. I offer therapy online and in person, in English and Spanish. I work relationally with individuals, as well as partners, polycules and other people who want to work on their relationship together.
My practice is grounded in an intersectional perspective. Some of the identities I bring into the room include being queer, a cis woman, white, fat, non-monogamous and neurodivergent. These experiences shape how I see the world and how I show up in the work. I think it’s important that people can bring their identities, histories and contexts into therapy, rather than feeling they need to leave parts of themselves at the door.
I’m particularly interested in how our relationships, identities and wider social contexts shape the ways we think, feel and relate to others, and in the patterns we develop as ways of navigating the world.
Community is also central to my work. I founded El Faro, a queer and neurodivergent community space in Granada, and my experience of community organising continues to shape how I think about care, belonging and mental health. I believe healing doesn’t only happen in therapy rooms.
